Dianna Geers

Biography

Dianna has been a teacher in the Cedar Rapids School District for 25 years. She has taught special education, language arts, and talented and gifted. Dianna received her BS in Elementary Education from Mount Mercy College and two masters degrees from the University of Iowa: one in Special Education and the other in Library and Information Science. She is currently a middle school teacher librarian for the Cedar Rapids Community School District, an adjunct professor at the University of Iowa, a book reviewer for VOYA magazine, and is National Board Certified in Library/Media. She is also an aspiring YA author.
