BSides/LISSO Conference This Friday!

BSides/LISSO Conference This Friday!

UI SLIS students have been working hard for months to provide a spring conference to showcase student and alumni research and make connections with the community. Past, current, and future students as well as LIS practitioners and SLIS faculty and staff are invited to attend all or part of the *free* conference this Friday, March 25.

"Unpacking the Library: Exploring Works in Progress Across LIS" reflects the varied interests and diversity of the field. Current students will preview their graduate research posters. In addition, professionals from around the area and alumni from near and far will present on their experiences and research.

The conference will be held at the Iowa City Public Library. Parking details and other logistics are up on the conference website along with an up-to-date program.

The first 50 attendees will receive subsidized lunch. Snack food will be provided for all conference attendees.

Please join us for the day-long event. Attendees are welcome to come and go as schedules permit.
