Director to Speak about Critical Information Literacy at New York Event

SLIS director and professor James Elmborg will speak to the Library Association of the City University of New York (LACUNY) on April 22 as part of the organization’s spring instructional committee event.

Elmborg’s presentation, “Critical Information Literacy: the Challenge of Practice,” will focus on his interdisciplinary research. He will define critical information literacy and explore the challenges of implementing these theoretical approaches in library practice.
