UI SLIS Ranked by U.S. News & World Report

Iowa’s School of Library and Information Science was ranked on U.S. News & World Report’s annual list of Best Graduate Schools, which is categorized by discipline. SLIS ranked 27th in the country in 2009 for the Library and Information Studies category.

The school shares the numerical rank with the University of Kentucky's program.

According to U.S. News & World Report, the rankings are based on “extensive surveys” sent to schools across the country. The information for the surveys is provided by deans, program directors and senior faculty members.
