2002 Grad Awarded Prestigious Honor

Jacquie Samples is currently the Electronic & Continuing Resources Librarian at North Carolina State University Libraries in Raleigh, North Carolina. Along with her colleague, Kristen Blake, Samples was recently awarded the ALCTS Blackwell's Scholarship Award for an article published in Library Resources & Technical Services in 2009.

According to the news release on the ALA website, "YBP/Blackwell donates a $2,000 scholarship to the U.S. or Canadian library school of the winning author’s choice. The authors have designated that the scholarship be split between the I-School at Syracuse University and the School of Library and Information Science at the University of Iowa."
