BSides & LISSO to Host Spring Conference

    Hosts: BSides, the open access, peer-reviewed journal for the SLIS community.
    LISSO, the student organization for the LIS program at Iowa.
    Presenters: Current SLIS students and alumni engaged in research. People with an interest in any aspect of LIS are welcome.

    Unpacking the “Library”: Exploring works in progress across the field of LIS.
    A one-day conference event.
  • WHERE:
    Meeting Rooms A-D, Iowa City Public Library
  • WHEN:
    March 25, 2011.
  • WHY:
  • To give current students and alumni a chance to present research they have done or are doing and to get feedback from the LIS community on works in progress.

    To add to the discussion of what it means to be in the field of LIS today.
