SLIS among Best Library & Information Studies Programs

The School of Library and Information Science has been ranked among the Top Schools in Library and Information Studies in U.S. News and World Report's national survey. The rankings are based on responses to a survey sent to departmental administrators and faculty at 50 LIS schools in the nation. Survey respondents were asked to assess the programs based on their academic content and their record of successfully preparing graduates for the profession. The School was ranked 27th on the overall list and 23rd among public universities.
