Price, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, “Strayed Cattle: Anti-Pastoralism in Whitman’s War Writings.” Cohen is author of Whitman’s Drift: Imagining Literary Distribution (2017); Price is co-director of the online Walt Whitman Archive and author of several books on Whitman, including To Walt Whitman, America (2004) and the forthcoming Whitman in Washington: Becoming the National Poet in the Federal City.
