LISSO Meeting – All Students Welcome!

March 3, 2015 -
12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

3082 LIB

Often featuring guest speakers who give us glimpses into real-world professions of interest in our fields, LISSO (the Library and Information Science Student Organization) meetings keep you in touch with the pulse of the SLIS program and current with happenings in the department. In addition, these meetings provide a venue for voicing your thoughts and opinions in regard to your graduate education and in regard to the future of librarianship, information science and all its disparate and related fields. LISSO: begin making your library connections here!

LISSO is the University of Iowa’s official student chapter of the American Library Association. All accepted SLIS program students are automatically dues-free member of this active organization and invited to attend any meetings and associated functions.
