Workshop for Stanley Undergraduate & Graduate Awards for International Research

There will be three upcoming workshops to help students prepare for the Stanley Undergraduate and Graduate Awards for International Research.  These awards are given annually to outstanding University of Iowa students for the pursuit of learning activities in international studies and international research/fieldwork that are not available on the UI campus. This year's application deadline is February 22, 2012.

Upcoming Workshops:

Stanley Grant Informational Workshop                November 30, 2011     12 noon-1:00 p.m.
This workshop will provide basic information about the awards; in addition, Kelly O'Berry, Senior Institutional Review Board (IRB) Education and Compliance Specialist, will be giving a short presentation on human subjects research and resources.

Stanley Grant Essay Workshop                             January 25, 2012         3:30-4:30 p.m.
            Students will have a chance to workshop early drafts of their essays and receive feedback.

Stanley Grant Final Workshop                              February 9, 2012         12 noon-1:00 p.m.
            Students will have the opportunity to share final drafts before submitting.

All workshops will be held in International Commons, 1117 University Capitol Centre.
