A hands-on exploration of interactive music technologies.

Christopher Hopkins, Professor of Music at Iowa State University, discusses his work in applying design tools for virtual reality to the arts. Topics include virtual touch (haptics), musical outcomes of interdisciplinary composition, and extension of arts-related interaction design to engineering and science. Following the talk attendees will be invited to experience an interactive demonstration of this form of digital art.
