ECGPS Elections

The graduate and professional student government (ECGPS) is seeking nominations for elections on April 16th, 2013. ECGPS represents all graduate and professional students on campus to upper administration, the Board of Regents, and our state and federally elected officials. ECGPS also administers grants to individual students, funding for student organizations, and works to improve the graduate and professional student experience on campus.

Elections will be April 16th at 6:30pm in the Executive Boardroom of the Old Capitol Mall (directly above Cookies and More). The twelve ECGPS delegates will select the candidates after each candidate gives a short speech (two to three minutes) about the position(s) they are running for, their qualifications, and any other pertinent information. Each position will be voted on one at a time. Candidates can run for more than one position.

Positions for 2013-2014 ECGPS:
President (must be a graduate student nominated by GSS)

Vice President (must be a professional student)

Executive Officer (must have been an ECGPS delegate or alternate delegate)

GPAC Chair (Budget Director)

Grant Coordinator (oversees -- Travel, Professional Development, Research, and Public Service Grants)

Public Relations Liaison

Service Liaison

Governmental Relations Liaison
